Workshops Damien Kee Nov 3, 2025 today dr damien kee from digitech tinker lab worked with students in year 6 to program microbits small, pocket sized computers designed to teach coding and digital skills. microbits have led displays and programmable buttons. the students were amazed at what they could do and enjoyed programming a game of paper, scissors, rock. His workshops are run extensively in australia and he has been invited to present internationally in the us, uk, singapore and jordan. damien has been involved with the robocup junior competition for over 10 years, holding the chairman position from 2009 2011. All workshops run from 9am – 3pm. lunch is included | presenter: dr damien kee. these hands on workshops are a great way for participants to learn not only how a particular technology works, but also how to best implement it within the classroom.
