The willard women's club was founded on november 20, 1913 at the home of molly geer now the home of geercrest farm & historical society. it was named after the small community of willard, consisting of a country store and post office in the waldo hills, east of salem.

The willamette heritage center (whc) is a private, 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization formed from the merger of the mission mill museum and the marion county historical society. Contains list of records held by the willamette heritage center related to the hubard woman's club, 1920 1980. Our five acre property is home to fourteen historic structures that vividly weave together the story of the mid willamette valley and the development of today’s diverse communities. explore the history and culture of the kalapuya people who have called this place home since time immemorial. The whc hosts five signature events each year; the heritage awards in april, sheep to shawl in may, oregon trail live™ in september, an annual fall gala, and magic at the mill in december. tour the willamette heritage center wednesday through saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
