Wired Tvark Wired was the summer replacement for the tube in 1986 7 and ran for two series. probably, only remembered for these scary computer titles… beware earthquakes, drumsticks & trumpets!. Television ark was founded in the dial up era on 8 november 1998, as a one man hobby site, with a limited number of pages and downloadable low resolution clips. over the years, clips and images grew in size and quantity. the site expanded and was run entirely as a hobby by an eight man team.

Wired Tvark In 2000, television ark shortened its name to simply tvark, along with a new website named as tv ark.org.uk. in 2003, the tvark logo was modified and the slogan "the television museum" was added into it. in 2006, tvark featured a new logo, a symbol and a website design. Tvark is a website that archives images, sound and video clips which illustrate british television presentation history. content includes idents, programme promotions, opening title sequences, public information films, commercials, daily start ups and closedowns, break bumpers and station clocks. For our 25th anniversary we’ve completely rebuilt tvark. we’ve re thought the lot, moved to a new server and built – from the ground up – a proper place for our decades of work. along the way we’ve taken care to preserve the familiar tvark experience that so many told us they missed.
