Winter Spring Csa Week 11 As the oil heats, the garlic and ginger will infuse the oil with flavor. take care that they do not burn. when the oil is hot, add the bok choy and the snow peas and toss to coat them in the oil. stir fry the mixture for about a minute. add the stock and oyster sauce and bring to a boil. Glacial till farm picked just a handful this week, which their family enjoyed for dinner. i picked just one spear from our patch today, and there are a few more coming up.
Winter Spring Csa Week 9 Over the next several weeks, they each escaped and were last seen high above the treetops headed toward elkhorn creek. we have no idea if they adopted another farm, or where they ended up. Another week of temperatures in the 60s, i’m not sure if this is lucky or not but we’re making the best of it and still harvesting veggies from the fields. this week we are giving the last of the onions, garlic, and squash. Because of the cold and gray lately, some of the crops that we had planned aren't ready yet, but they are still growing. this week we have enough produce to fill all of the veggie shares with only produce and eggs. the grocery shares also have meats and other items built into the preliminary boxes. we have lots of options to customize this week.
