Wildfire Smoke Detection Object Detection Model V1 Version 1 By By capturing a wide spectrum of environmental scenarios, forest variants, geographical locations, and the intricate dynamics of forest ecosystems and fire events, the dataset stands as a thoughtful benchmark for research in forest fire detection. Our study attempted to create synthetic wildfire images in various shapes by inserting damage into a free wildfire image using generative adversarial network (gan) and weakly supervised object localization (wsol). This dataset comprises information related to forest fires and is intended for training algorithms designed for forest fire detection, alongside data for object detection. The goal is to curate wildfire smoke datasets to enable open sharing and ease of access of datasets for developing vision based wildfire detection models. easy access and open sharing of datasets will facilitate and accelerate the research efforts in solving wildfire crisis.

We present the first open source wildfire dataset that combines historical wildifre occurrences with relevant features extracted from satellite imagery. our dataset, with over 17 million data points, is created using a novel approach to process large scale raster and vector data. In the development of an early wildfire detection model, the assembly of a comprehensive and diverse dataset is crucial. we already have a set of in house data from our cameras in the wild, but in order to extend and diversify the dataset, we aimed at data from additional sources. Because our aim was early fire detection, the dataset was created from aerial smoke images and images of smoke like objects in nature. first, 737 images were taken from the open source wildfire smoke dataset created by the ai for the makind technology community [1]. Explore our meticulously curated wildfire detection dataset, featuring 2,700 high resolution aerial and ground based images. the wildfire dataset is a meticulously curated collection aimed at leveraging rgb imagery for forest fire detection through advanced machine learning techniques.
