The Bount Arc Bleach Fandorable Despite its initial reception, the bount arc did leave a lasting impact on the bleach anime. certain characters introduced in the arc, such as koga and ririn, made brief appearances in later episodes, showing that the series wasn’t entirely willing to forget about this original storyline. I enjoyed the bount filler arc more than a bunch of the other ones. don't think i could watch the amagai arc again but i've willingly watched the bount arc a few times.

A significant contributor to this is the english dub of the anime: now, i'm not here to start a sub vs. dub debate war, but i do overall prefer the english dub of bleach over the original japanese dub, and the bount arc solidified that with several characters, most notable kariya. Bount arc isn't that bad sure, and things actually get interesting once the bounts set foot in soul society. but in my opinion it's still the worst among all bleach arcs.
