Your Highest Altitude So Far General Discussion Microsoft Flight Flight simulator has the highest max altitude. first up flight sim twenty twenty. a lot of you probably know the max altitude in this one and there we go. we've reached it 275, 000 feet. now x plane eleven i've never actually tested this one so i'm kind of curious to see what it is. and there we go maxed out at four hundred thousand feet and. The 172 has a ceiling of about 14000 feet, and it takes close to an hour to climb to that altitude. it’s way higher than anyone would ever realistically climb that plane.

With su5 the maximum possible altitude has decreased from 275,000 feet to 249,999 feet. it does seem to internally track your altitude above this level if you have positive vertical speed as it will take some time with negative vertical speed before you drop below 249,999 again.

These records can include fastest flying, highest flying and the most "eliminations" on geofs, etc. all records are considered to be records until proven otherwise. Can anyone confirm what the max altitude will be? will there be some invisible barrier? im asking this because i would personally love for a 3rd party mod at some point that includes the sr 71. that beast has a cruising altitude around 26,000 meters (85,000 feet).
