Each year, hundreds of artists from around the country and abroad who wish to show their work to near 30,000 art enthusiasts from all over florida and beyond are selected to participate in the raymond james gasparilla festival of the arts. The purpose of the program is to recognize and showcase the work of up and coming artists who wish to establish themselves in a professional visual arts career. In an effort to continuously improve the festival and in response to suggestions made by artists in past years, gasparilla festival of the arts has made changes to its jury process.
Wfla Daytime Segment Gasparilla Festival Of The Arts Call For Artists The purpose of the program is to recognize and showcase the work of up and coming artists who wish to establish themselves in a professional visual arts career. In an effort to continuously improve the festival and in response to suggestions made by artists in past years, gasparilla festival of the arts has made changes to its jury process. This juried festival will invite up to 230 artists to exhibit and sell their work to more than 30,000 patrons. the 56th festival will be held at the julian b. lane riverfront park, tampa, florida on saturday, february 28 – march 1, 2026. Visitors can also enjoy live entertainment, a children’s art activity area, and a special exhibition highlighting the work of local young artists. images are submitted by the artists through zapp and are used to evaluate applications and into the festival.
