Welcome Wpilib Welcome to the wpilib project. this repository contains the hal, wpilibj, and wpilibc projects. these are the core libraries for creating robot programs for the roborio. Wpilib is a comprehensive suite of libraries and tools designed to enable first robotics teams to develop effective robot control software. its layered architecture abstracts hardware details while providing powerful capabilities for autonomous control, teleoperation, communication, and simulation. Advantagescope can be used with any wpilib project, but is also optimized for use with our advantagekit log replay framework. note that advantagekit is not required to use advantagescope. Advantagekit enables deterministic log replay in java, allowing the full state of wpilib robot code to be efficiently replayed in simulation based on a log file (what is advantagekit?). The wpi robotics library (wpilib) is a set of classes that interfaces to the hardware in the frc control system and your robot. there are classes to handle sensors, motors, the driver station, and a number of other utility functions like timing and field management. This repository is intended to be a common place for high quality code to live for “things that should be in wpilib, but aren’t”. the python implementation of wpilib is intended to be very close to the implementations in the other languages, which is where packages like this come in.
