The programme kicked off with a global water & football summit, digitally connecting the 100 young leaders from ngo partners around the world for a series of live interactive discussions on how to use football to solve water challenges. In kuala lumpur, young leaders hosted a series of activities engaging young people from age 3 to 17, including innovation challenges, a field trip to xylem’s offices, a river clean up and a football festival. This was followed by a three day digital summit, connecting young leaders and xylem experts from all ten cities to share ideas on tackling water challenges through football.
