Volunteer Mircore To volunteer, you must have attended mircore camps. responsibilities include active participation in gidas, fundraising for scientific research, and group volunteering for patients. we practice the mircore values science, compassion, and collaboration. Gidas members have the opportunity to learn computational biology skills from their peers and provide mentorship to high school students through the mircore volunteer program.

Our 2025 mircore middle school biology workshop was an amazing success! we had students working online and in person, learning about foundational biology and biotechnology concepts. Their camps offer intensive, cutting edge experience in computational biology, r research programming, & biotechnology sequencing.they also offer an optional mircore volunteer program for campers to continue to engage throughout the school year. need based scholarships are available. Volunteer program (multi year): we mentor high schoolers in computational biology research on weekends throughout the school year, advocating personalized medicine and fostering leadership. Additionally, being part of mircore allows me to be able to give back to my community by volunteering my time at their middle school biology workshops and other such events.
