Human Computer Interaction Lab Kaist Acm Interactions While many lessons learned from single series no doubt extend to multiples, introducing comparison adds additional complexity and potential variables. we thus build on prior evaluation studies with a series of crowdsourced experiments designed specifically to evaluate layouts for visual comparison. Data comparison in various domains can be effectively supported by visual analytics solutions combining interactive visualization and algorithmic analysis. we develop novel approaches for interactive visualization and exploration of multiple graphs, time series and 3d data.

The human computer interaction lab is dedicated to exploring innovative ways to understand and enhance interaction between humans and computers. through interdisciplinary research, we strive to improve user experiences, interface design, and the usability of technology across various domains. Five approaches were found to categorise design methods: the recipient, primary purpose, visual archetype, interaction type, and the design process. the recipient approach categorises design methods based on who we are generating information for. In this lab, our research focuses on the close collaboration with humanities researchers and on applying immersive technologies and hci methodologies to the field of humanities.

In this lab, our research focuses on the close collaboration with humanities researchers and on applying immersive technologies and hci methodologies to the field of humanities. The human computer interaction lab at the university of delaware (hci@ud) investigates how immersive technologies, such as augmented and virtual reality (ar vr), can be used and evaluated for elevating user experience. We investigated varying visualization and interaction techniques in a controlled experiment with 24 participants. our findings provide valuable insights for designing vr systems that improve usability, reduce workload, and enhance performance in comparison tasks. In the scope of applied research, we are developing and investigating new ways of meaningful usage of modern hci equipment in various fields, including molecular biology, anthropology, esports, visualizations, and games. in 2002, our hcilab was founded by prof. jiří sochor. Across all our work, we seek to design human–ai interaction that is not only innovative, but also ethical, inclusive, and deeply connected to human experience.
