Over the last decade, algorithmic developments coupled with increased computation and data resources have led to advances in well defined verticals of ai suc.
Integrative Ai Microsoft Research The speakers in this session will provide a sampler of research challenges, from work at the intersection of vision and language, to situated dialogue systems and interactive robots, and highlight opportunities in integrative ai. He developed the photodna technology used by microsoft, facebook, google, and various law enforcement agencies to combat illegal imagery on the web. before joining microsoft research, he received the phd degree in robotics from carnegie mellon university in 2003. We do this by bringing together the best minds across diverse disciplines and backgrounds to take on the most pressing research challenges for microsoft and for society.
