You can do something in one line of code in python that would take 5 10 in java, but a ton of meaning is lost without proper comments. because python is a more “powerful” language, it does more complicated things with comparatively simple commands from human overlords. Using a linter like pylint and embracing python's new type hints helps some, but it's never going to be like as reliable as a statically typed language and compiler. syntax errors are relatively easy to find and fix. It’s classic dunning kruger. a lot of people here know python and because they know that page 10 of “intro to python 101 in 30 days for dummies” (or whatever book they read) says that it’s an “interpreted language,” they think they’re experts on the subject. oh well.
