The usopc training center network has evolved significantly since the first facility opened in colorado springs in 1978. today’s system balances centralized olympic training centers with distributed training sites that provide sport specific excellence across the country.

Usopc Home The united states olympic & paralympic training centers (optcs) are two campuses created by the united states olympic & paralympic committee (usopc) as training facilities for its olympic and paralympic athletes. they are located in colorado springs, colorado, and lake placid, new york. The usopc’s system of training centers includes two owned and operated facilities in colorado springs, colorado, and lake placid, new york, and approximately 18 ngb specific training sites. The usopc provides world class facilities to support team usa athletes in their day to day training and development through our two olympic & paralympic training centers, our 11 partner training. Usopc About The U S Olympic Paralympic Committee The usopc provides world class facilities to support team usa athletes in their day to day training and development through our two olympic & paralympic training centers, our 11 partner training. Book a tour of the team usa facilities. explore the u.s. olympic & paralympic training centers in lake placid and colorado springs and museum in colorado springs. The u.s. olympic & paralympic training center offers year round guided tours of the optc facilities. the guided walking tour explores several training venues at the optc, lasting approximately 75 minutes. To bring innovation, collaboration, and sports based medicine together to create a world class human performance training campus for us athletes, and use our research, insight, and expertise to help patients everywhere rehabilitate their bodies and lives. In 2003, lakeshore earned the designation as an official united states olympic & paralympic committee (usopc) olympic and paralympic training site which hosts national team training camps and international competitions. With an expected 400,000 visitors annually, the ntc will host large scale events, and provide a variety of training spaces, climbing terrain, and other resources to strengthen the development of competitive climbers (youth, collegiate, para, and elite) from across the country.
