Pii does appear to be an important component of the ol experience, and instructors and course designers can utilize these findings to create course designs with satisfactory levels of pii, while decreasing extraneous interactions.

This paper attempts to build a quality lens to view interpersonal interaction in online learning through purposeful interpersonal interaction (pii) by exploring types of interpersonal interaction demonstrated in the literature to lead to better student outcomes. Traditional lectures alone are no longer enough to keep students engaged and drive meaningful learning. in this webinar, we’ll explore how to design courses with purpose by integrating active learning strategies that align with what students need to succeed. A real time dynamic artificial intelligence analysis system was used to analyze the teacher student interaction during three rounds of design based research. the results showed that the model significantly fostered students’ engagement during the interaction. Model the expected behaviors and communications of purposeful interactions. participant's interactions and purposefulness is supported when instructors share expectations, initiate conversations and deliver consistent praise.
