Urban Lab Idea Urban Lab At the institute for urban and regional development (irmir), we have developed the concept of urban lab as a response to the lack of an instrument in polish cities to support cooperation between different groups of urban stakeholders, primarily between the city council and citizens. The deputy director for urban affairs approved the concept to launch an undergraduate research and internship project under urban labs, aimed at supporting urban policy and innovation through close collaboration with universities.
