The center for the humanities and the public sphere is a dynamic hub within the college of liberal arts and sciences dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary collaboration, scholarship and community engagement through the humanities. We all know that the world is changing at warp speed, and higher education needs to keep up, right? so, uf is stepping up its game with this new lab, and it’s not just some random side project. this is a strategic move, backed by serious funding. With a generous strategic funding grant from the uf president’s office, this year the center will be building an interactive digital humanities lab to foster multidisciplinary collaborations, offer trainings, courses, and consultations. Now home to the center for the humanities and the public sphere digital humanities lab, the space serves as a high tech workspace to support research, collaboration and innovation in the digital humanities.
