After being a depository for knowledge and discussions on the unity game engine for over a decade unity forums are being shut down the end of july. in their stead the content will be merged with unity discussions and hopefully not too much information will be lost in the process.

Color me skeptical that they’re actually going to fix or finish discussions before they shut down the forums. forums are full of age old outdated answers and bad practises. i think it's a good thing to give it a reboot. i really don't understand why they would spend resources on this. None of these problems involve moving everyone to a platform that was meant to replace unity answers, they involve fixing or replacing the underlying forum software without butchering user experience. We are pleased to announce that the forum migration to unity discussions has now been completed. thank you again for your feedback and support during this project.
