Uniting borders was built on stories of resilience, hope, and a shared commitment to making a difference. our three leaders—doug santos, sabrina silveira and daniel carroll—each bring unique experiences that shaped their passion for helping others. doug santos, born in brazil and raised in the u.s., found his purpose in giving back through. The uniting borders team — doug santos, sabrina silveira, and daniel carroll — is united by a shared dedication to helping others. they achieve this not only by supplying essential items such as clothing and shoes, but also by empowering individuals and transforming lives. In 2020, inspired by his experiences and a desire to make a difference, doug founded the uniting borders club at assumption university. the club began by collecting shoes to donate to children in need—each pair symbolizing hope and the chance for children to play, learn, and dream without limitations.
