Homeless Outreach Services Campaign As the region’s largest non government funder of social services, united way is focused on reducing and preventing poverty and homelessness locally. this year, we’re investing $4.6 million in our community, through programs offered by 39 united way funded agencies. In december of 2024, united way, in partnership with the fm coalition to end homelessness, formally took an active leadership role and created the united to end homelessness initiative – a project focused on making homelessness rare, brief, and one time.
