Unifi Guest Network Issue Networking Spiceworks Community I ran into an odd issue with my set up where my router gateway device didn’t trunk vlans to the unifi switch correctly, so i made 2 physical links and it works fine. We currently have good wi fi routing through vlan 1. it is working ok. however when we attempt to create a guest network we cannot get it to take affect.

I am still learning the unifi setup on these and trying to figure out how to do guest wifi where they can get a ip from our lan subnet but not be able to really access any of those resources. In unifi you added vlan 100. did you create an ssid using that network definition of vlan 100? trouble with a vlan, guest wifi, unifi, powerconnect, and sonicwall. I still have my guest network on it's own vlan with a er x. i have it set to open security but the client needs a voucher to access the internet. i'd make sure your pre authorizations are set correctly if needed, and check that there's not a missing vlan tag on a switch or router interface.
