U S Coastal Research Program The u.s. coastal research program (uscrp) was created to develop, coordinate, and enable a national science plan to address growing needs of coastal communities. We posit tactics for workforce development across employment sectors and highlight the keystone variable framework used by the u.s. coastal research program (uscrp) to target actions leading to coastal sector workforce growth. Researchers from federal agencies, academia, industry, and non governmental organizations work together to identify priorities that support coastal stakeholders in activities such as emergency. The projects selected through the uscrp sea grant competition will increase the capacity of coastal communities across the u.s. to withstand and quickly recover from a diverse range of local challenges. this includes current and future flood risks posed by sea level rise and extreme storms.
