Tuffy We offer: hygiene products, food assistance, emergency temporary housing, emergency grants, and gently used professional attire through tuffy's career. What is tuffy's basic needs? center that serves students experiencing hardship, crisis, emergency or catastrophic life event (csuf, n.d). The basic needs center coordinator oversees the operation of tuffy's basic needs services center (tbnsc) and offers care related guidance and resources to students who experience food, financial, and or housing insecurity. Tuffy’s basic needs services center opened on campus two years ago to help students with basic necessities, such as food and toiletries, due to unforeseen emergencies or crises.
