Rcvda As the backbone of their charities, it's really important that trustees receive regular training to enable them to continually build on their knowledge and run their organisations effectively, and in accordance with charity law. Wcva are celebrating the week by hosting a series of free online events for trustees (and those who’d like to know more about becoming one) to participate in. click here to discover the range of training available. We bring together insightful learning, ideas and resources to help trustees and those recruiting them. taking place from monday 3 to friday 7 november 2025, this year we’re focusing on good governance: an important theme made even more relevant by the upcoming update to the charity governance code. Throughout trustees’ week there are opportunibes for trustees to connect with other trustees, to share their experiences, and to develop their skills at a wide range of events and training sessions. As part of our #trusteesweek celebrations, we will share some guidance around the "why, what and who" of trustees. We’re so excited to be launching our trustee and governance training program this month. part of our program will involve supporting aspiring trustees to find the right role with our member organisations.
