The litterbug is an open source trash rover you can train to autonomously pick up trash in outdoor spaces like beaches, parks, or your own backyard! this project is a fork of the diy robocars's donkeycar platform design to push the limits and applications of cheap autonomous rovers and embedded ai. I am looking for a hands on robotics mechatronics engineer to design and build a working prototype of a robot that moves a residential trash can from a garage to the curb and back. this is not a cad only project. i need a physically working prototype. project overview: • robot moves a standard 65–96 gallon trash can (up to 300 lbs) • distance: ~50–100 ft driveway • must work.
