Transition Year Programme St Aidan S We have enrolled our first full class this year for the first time in 25 years! transition year is a one year programme that prepares students to approach the senior cycle with a greater degree of confidence and maturity. a two week work experience placement is a big part of the programme. Transition year is a very successful and worthwhile programme in st aidan's. it provides students with a bridge to enable them to make the transition from junior to senior cycle. Each year, transition year students from st aidan’s go on work placements and enjoy the opportunity to not only learn about the world of work and explore possible career options but also to actively develop skills for future enterprise and employability.
