Transition Assembly Abingdon Prep School Ahead of moving up to our senior section next year, rebecca and natasha spent our assembly time on tuesday addressing the questions and concerns raised by our year 6 pupils in a recent survey. Our co curricular programme is built into the school day so all pupils can discover what they love to do and develop life skills from over 80 options. whilst the majority of our pupils progress to abingdon senior school, for others another setting may be more beneficial.
Transition To Senior School Workshop Abingdon Prep School Across several visits, prospective abingdon third year students, currently in year 8, have been given guidance about the transition from prep to senior school, by our psl students. Last week, five upper sixth peer support lead mentors (psls) from abingdon school visited abingdon prep to lead a transition to senior school workshop. this is the first of three workshop events which are being held over the course of this term. We are confident that it provides the knowledge, skills and rigorous challenge demanded by abingdon and the other senior schools that our pupils move on to. the ap facilitates the transition from prep to senior schools and is an engaging, challenging and dynamic curriculum. The aim of the presentation is to provide you with important information about the transition process, including changes to the curriculum, expectations and routines in year 3.
