Another Tomorrow Sustainability Bui Thuy In may 2021, resilient cities catalyst partnered with mayor castor and tampa’s sustainability and resilience officer to release resilient tampa. this tactical roadmap builds upon mayor castor’s pioneering vision, with concrete actions that address the city’s most pressing challenges at all scales. Oving forward. to make this vision a reality, resilient tampa sets forth almost 60 concrete actions that address our city’s most pressing challenges at all scales: from individual tampanians and households, to our diverse and vibrant neighborhoods, to our critical infrastructure, to city govern. Created by mayor jane castor, the t3 initiative is designed to address tampa’s issues and find solutions through advisory groups on several important topics: transportation, development services, workforce development, housing affordability, and sustainability & resilience. Established pipes: progressive infrastructure plan to ensure sustainability (pipes) is the largest water and wastewater infrastructure program in the city’s history to replace aging infrastructure after nearly 100 years. The team, part of castor’s transforming tampa’s tomorrow initiative, will meet regularly over the next year to help launch several plans to improve sustainability in the city.
