Timeline Global Pps
Timeline Global Pps In honour of this special anniversary, we have created a dynamic timeline that guides you through global pps’s history and our biggest milestones throughout the years. To commemorate our 10 year anniversary, we have created a special dynamic global pps timeline that will take you through our history, including important milestones and achievements.
Timeline Global Pps The objective of this study was to present the main results of the second european centre for disease control (ecdc) pps and global pps of antimicrobial use and healthcare acquired infections (hais) in acute care hospitals in belgium. In conclusion, the main aim of the global pps is to help hospitals by developing and providing a tool to identify targets for quality improvement of antimicrobial prescribing, to change practise and to measure impact of interventions. In this study, we describe the methodology and first evaluation of the outpatient global point prevalence survey (global pps). global pps developed a standardized tool to measure outpatient antimicrobial prescribing patterns. Background the global point prevalence study (pps) provides a platform for institutions to register and add clinical information on antimicrobial usage and determine variables related to proper.

Background the global point prevalence study (pps) provides a platform for institutions to register and add clinical information on antimicrobial usage and determine variables related to proper. • expand the standardized antimicrobial web based pps at a global scale to collect consistent, valid and comparable antimicrobial prescribing data. • monitor rates of antimicrobial prescribing in hospitalized adults, children and neonates. Biomérieux is the sole industrial partner of the global pps. the company has no role in study design, data collection, data analysis and data interpretation. data are strictly confidential and stored anonymously at the coordinating centre of the university of antwerp. The global pps aims to further expand the standardised surveillance method of data collection at a global level, in order to monitor rates of antimicrobial prescribing in hospitalised patients. The global pps was piloted in 33 hospitals worldwide from oct 1, 2014, to nov 30, 2014. several key amendments were made to the study after this pilot, including software improvements (no protocol amendments were made), before the full global pps was done between jan 1, 2015, and sept 30, 2015.
