The global pps was piloted in 33 hospitals worldwide from oct 1, 2014, to nov 30, 2014. several key amendments were made to the study after this pilot, including software improvements (no protocol amendments were made), before the full global pps was done between jan 1, 2015, and sept 30, 2015.
