Re: Acrobat DC thumbnails pane will not stay a fixed width. This solution doesn't address default pane width on *new* documents. 99% fo the documents I work with are new. I would like to set a default width for the thumbnail pane when opening or creating a new document.

Hiding the tool bar / showing page thumbnails by default. Hi there Does anyone know how can the right side tool bar be hidden by default on Acrobat DC? Likewise, how can the page thumbnails show up everytime a PDF is opened? It pins the bookmarks menu, which does actually help, because it at least opens that pane by default, but you still have to click the pages to get the pages thumbnails to open. Cannot drag and drop PDFs from Windows folders into Thumbnails pane ....

I open a PDF and extend the thumbnails pane. Then I attempt to drag another PDF from Windows explorer into the thumbnail pane, and instead of getting the little bar on either side of the existing thumbnail, to denote whether I want to place the new page before or after the existing one, I just get a black circle with a line through it.
