Aveley Secondary College Intraspace Aveley secondary college has partnered up with the resilience project to deliver a whole school wellbeing program that is emotionally engaging, practical and proven to have impact through evidence based evaluations. The college also places a strong emphasis on wellbeing, partnering with the resilience project to build resilient, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent young people.
Aveley Secondary College Intraspace We believe in supporting not just academic growth, but the holistic development of every student. to this end, we implemented a welbeing program for all students, developed by the resilience project, which emphasises the values of gratitude, empathy and mindfulness. Additionally, aveley secondary college partners with the resilience project to embed emotional intelligence and wellbeing into the daily curriculum through a whole school program emphasizing gratitude, empathy, mindfulness, and emotional literacy. Students explored how to recognise signs of mental health challenges, manage uncomfortable emotions and build healthy coping strategies. they also discussed the causes and impacts of bullying and how to respond with empathy, whether as a target or bystander. It builds confidence, resilience and the ability to respond to an audience. our students embraced the challenge, supporting one another and showing great respect as both performers and audience members.

In round 1, aveley sc took on the role of the prosecution in a mock criminal trial against servite college. our students represented the college with confidence and professionalism, demonstrating impressive preparation, teamwork and the ability to think on their feet in a real courtroom environment.
