Tf2 Fall Damage
Fall Damage By D1mared Fall damage is taken by a victim when the victim falls faster than 650 hammer units per second and lands on a flat horizontal surface; the damage received varies based on the victim's downwards velocity (generally the longer you fall, the higher this is) and the victim's max health. Fall damage is an effect when you landed from the higher ground than normal. the health it takes away depends on how big the fall is.
Fall Damage Plugin Basically you have to hold duck while falling in the air, release your crouch button within a few game units of hitting the ground (the window to make it work is ridiculously small) and press your jump key to come out of the duck without taking any damage. That cvar defaults to 0 and seemingly does nothing, probably because tf2 has its own weird fall damage system that scales with max health and has random variance. No fall damage zone 1 when falling hopeless players touches this trigger before hitting the ground fall damage will not take effect on them this is for those who doesn't have the special fgd or doesn't know how to use actually trigger add or remove tf player attributes. Fall damage is caused by hitting the ground at high speeds, as well as by the mantreads and thermal thruster when landing on opponents. crush damage is caused by a player being sandwiched between two objects (such as between a closing door and the ground).
Fall Damage Official Tf2 Wiki Official Team Fortress Wiki No fall damage zone 1 when falling hopeless players touches this trigger before hitting the ground fall damage will not take effect on them this is for those who doesn't have the special fgd or doesn't know how to use actually trigger add or remove tf player attributes. Fall damage is caused by hitting the ground at high speeds, as well as by the mantreads and thermal thruster when landing on opponents. crush damage is caused by a player being sandwiched between two objects (such as between a closing door and the ground). Fall damage occurs when you are considered grounded and your previous vertical velocity was above 650 hammer units per second. what happened is that the slope slowed your vertical velocity to below 650, but still high enough to be considered airborne. Fall damage is based on speed falling, not height. this is why if you take an airshot to the face at a height thats lower than fall damage height, you can still die from fall damage. but you always fall at the same speed. no, there are these things called "acceleration" and "terminal velocity". The fall does not have to occur from rocket jumping in order to deliver damage. successfully landing on an enemy is indicated by a unique sound, a unique particle effect, and the soldier's view appearing to shake. Tf2 classic replaces the sound when taking fall damage with the sound when dying from fall damage. this mod restores the original fall damage sound from live tf2.
