Team Cclab Epfl
Team Cclab Epfl Cclab in 2015 in avignon during annual excursion. Cclab invites visitors to explore this new website, which gives an overview of cclab's past and ongoing research programs, demonstration projects and teaching activities, backed by a wide selection of images and videos.
Team Cclab Epfl Cclab was well prepared, flexible during the whole evaluation process, and supported us with continuous communication and guidance. many lessons were learnt during the project and cclab has always been looking for solutions, supporting our developers the best way they could. Research interests focus on composite or hybrid solutions on the material, component and structural system levels with an emphasis on advanced composite materials and lightweight structures. Laboratory active in wind energy, history of architectural styles and composite construction. Together with basic research, collaboration with industry and the resulting technology transfer and product development are of key importance. current research areas include sandwich structures, adhesive joints, fire endurance and fatigue and fracture of advanced composite materials, joints and structural components. In 2000, thomas created the composite construction laboratory (cclab) at epfl. his research focused on the development of material tailored use of composites in structural engineering and architecture.
