Task Within Task Alignment Problem Tex Latex Stack Exchange The task manual says that "the tasks environment cannot be nested. you can, however, use an itemize environment or another “real” list in it" (section 3, how it works). I've been learning latex for a while and have come to a bit of a roadblock. i've been trying to use both enumerate and tasks to make lists, and have faced some trouble aligning their labels.

Task Within Task Alignment Problem Tex Latex Stack Exchange To resolve the unwanted vertical spacing between the \item of the enumerate environment and the tasks environment, you can use the before skip parameter from the tasks package. How do i align tasks to the left margin? i've managed to align it by arbitrarily adjusting the values of "column sep and item indent" (the values i used are commented out in the code) but is there another more effective way to do. I have not been able to figure out the alignment issue i am having. you can see the numbers are not quite aligned, most likely due to the display of the integrals. In the example below, i want to raise the equations in align* environment, so they would be in the same line with the numbering labels of tasks package. how i can do that?.

I am using the tasks package to create a custom choices environment for a multiple choice exam in arabic, with right to left alignment and arabic labels. however, i am experiencing excessive vertical spacing between items and tasks within the choices environment, and i would like to reduce it. Not only is such a syntax atypical of latex, but it can be inconvenient when the items within a stack row also contain spaces. the \setstackeol macro allows the end of line (eol) character to be defined to a more convenient setting, such as \\, though any character will work. I've tried using the align environment like this. \end{align} this works in principle (it aligns), however it adds ridiculously large spaces before the second equal sign in each line. but i just want the line to runs as if there was no additional alignment tab. If there are not enough columns left (say two columns but you said \task*(3)) the argument is ignored and the maximum number of remaining columns is used (two in case of our example).
