Camfed Campaign For Female Education I’ve been on a transformative education journey with camfed, and now i’m plowing back into my community by supporting young women in tanzania to access education opportunities. Women’s leadership and empowerment remained central to camfed’s strategy. by 2025, the camfed alumnae network (cama) had grown to 80,311 members. these young women emerged as community leaders, mentors, and champions for girls’ education. Providing education for all children, specifically in primary and secondary schools, has been a focus of many governmental and ngos. the study examines the contribution of the campaign for female. Camfed is a non governmental organisation operating in ghana, kenya, malawi, tanzania, zambia, and zimbabwe, supporting marginalised girls and young women in rural communities.

Girls Education For Economic Development Camfed Providing education for all children, specifically in primary and secondary schools, has been a focus of many governmental and ngos. the study examines the contribution of the campaign for female. Camfed is a non governmental organisation operating in ghana, kenya, malawi, tanzania, zambia, and zimbabwe, supporting marginalised girls and young women in rural communities. Delegates from zimbabwe, zambia, and malawi travelled to dodoma district, tanzania, to learn from the country’s experience of implementing the learner guide model at scale. The investment to camfed over the next six years will support the transition of 62,000 girls in tanzania, zambia, zimbabwe, ghana, and malawi into secondary and tertiary education, employment, and entrepreneurship while partnering to improve education systems for millions of young people. Speaking on the event, the chairperson of the girls’ network funded by camfed, shamsa mkurungo, stated that through a range of programmes implemented by the organisation to support girls, concerted efforts are being made to ensure that this group remains within the education system. Despite near universal primary school enrollment in tanzania and zambia, girls in rural areas are much less likely to finish school. camfed provides wraparound community support so that girls can thrive in school, transition to higher education or employment, and step forward as leaders.
