Summer Undergraduate Research Program Stories The harvard summer undergraduate research village (hsurv) is a collection of residential summer research programs for undergraduate students. programs run from early june until mid august, with precise dates confirmed in advance of the program. Drive and passion led undergraduates isabel cai, remington graham, nicholas neoman, and selena niemi to pursue research in summer 2024 – and their experiences gave them the skills and motivation they need to pursue their future education and careers.

Over the summer, undergraduate fellows collaborated with university of oregon faculty mentors to develop interdisciplinary research and creative projects that engage with steam fields—science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Suny poly’s surp provided the 21 students who participated in the program with a unique opportunity to spend 10 weeks conducting hands on research at suny poly’s albany and utica campuses. this innovative, practical experience allowed students to work closely with the college’s world class faculty. But this summer, thanks to the bowers undergraduate research experience (bure), kim, along with 60 of his undergraduate peers from the cornell ann s. bowers college of computing and information science, can give research the time it requires. in the process, kim is discovering a career path. My research project focuses on the economic implications of sporting events, and throughout the summer, i’ve collected data from professional sports teams across the world to study what drives attendance at sporting events.
