What Remote Learning Challenges Do Students With Disabilities Face This study aimed to investigate the challenges faced by students with disabilities in online education and to review scientific solutions, digital access solutions and assistive. This paper uses qualitative data from six ontario, canada school boards, including 27 classroom observations and interviews with teachers, to explore the role that digital technologies (i.e. robotics, smartboards, ipads) play in facilitating greater engagement among students with disabilities. Neurodivergent students, from kindergarten through college, continue to face barriers due to the lack of proper funding, accommodations, and resources to support their academic success. Previous research, however, provides insights on how to identify and address challenges that students with disabilities face when accessing online learning in institutions of higher education.
