Stem Ambassadors Naval Stem Dow stem ambassadors work together to create and curate remote learning and digital materials such as lesson plans, learning activities, and creative engagement approaches to be shared with educators. Naval surface warfare center, carderock division opened its gates in west bethesda, maryland, to department of defense (dod) science, technology, engineering and mathematic (stem) ambassadors.
Stem Ambassadors Naval Stem The dod stem ambassadors program consists of high performing educators around the country and provides them with a unique, enriching opportunity to create and curate new stem learning. Naval surface warfare center, carderock division opened its gates in west bethesda, maryland, to department of defense (dod) science, technology, engineering and mathematic (stem) ambassadors on feb. 22, 2024. As members of this prestigious cohort, dod stem ambassadors will collaborate to share, create, and curate resources to support stem educators across the nation in implementing high quality stem learning for all students. The seajelly project, initiated by navsea (nswc carderock), is an innovative and engaging stem initiative aimed at providing students with hands on experience in robotics and engineering.
Stem Ambassadors Naval Stem As members of this prestigious cohort, dod stem ambassadors will collaborate to share, create, and curate resources to support stem educators across the nation in implementing high quality stem learning for all students. The training equipped ambassadors with valuable resources and strategies to engage students in real world applications of stem concepts using lessons from the seaworthy stem curriculum. Southlake based learning blade, a stem career exploration platform for grades 5–9, is diving in to help the u.s. navy address a critical workforce shortage—by sparking a new generation of submarine builders in schools across the country. We provide resources to support naval stem in a box kits and training, stem project builds (such as seaplane, seaperch, seajelly®, and seaglide®), first® robotics mentoring, and the carderock.
