Unlock The Secrets To Splintered This book literally made my jaw drop. i'm still reeling from some of the offensive, annoying and downright incorrect things that made it past editors, proofreaders and buyers. Spliced started out with jimi’s normal life of going to school and hanging out with del, but in splintered, jimi was trying to find her new normal and some of the situations seemed slightly repetitive and a little bit too weird.

Other than the original, i don’t think i’ve read a novel based on alice in wonderland. this seems like an oversight on my part. i’m sure there are plenty but i’ve never sought them out. but your debut caught my interest. i was promised creepiness and splintered delivered. A companion novel to carroll’s alice in wonderland, splintered uses the alice story as background in order to tell a new story – and howard manages to perform this feat without disrespecting the original text. I stumbled across the books one day while at barnes and noble looking for a new book to read. i will say that i didn't expect the first book to be that great but was pleasantly surprised when i began to gobble up "splintered". This book sounds absolutely perfect for me – i’m a great fan of the original alice in wonderland, and the cover looks beautiful and the blurb amazing. splintered was a disappointment though. First i need to stress that this is in no way a bad book. it is ridiculously well written, has a great story and offers a really brilliant, unique twist to the alice in wonderland story. but, i personally struggled with it and couldn't get swept up in the story as much as everyone else did.
