The world green building council (worldgbc) is the largest and most influential local regional global action network, leading the transformation to sustainable and decarbonised built environments for everyone, everywhere. This program is intended to provide the motivation, knowledge and skills to transform the building industry and the built environment so that buildings globally are healthy and powered by clean energy. The global building network enables interdisciplinary research through synergies with globally dispersed academic and non academic institutions. the gbn currently has 40 global partnerships, including network to network connections throughout africa, europe, and south america.
