Serving Georgia S Underserved Communities A plan to strengthen health access in rural and underserved communities in georgia through community health workers is on life support in the georgia legislature. the legislation, house bill 291, has passed the house and an amended version passed the senate health and human services committee last week. Our mission is to build and support a statewide network of thriving member organizations and trained professionals engaged in housing and community development serving families with limited housing choices.

Community outreach and advocacy corporation (coac) runs several outreach programs designed to address the immediate and long term needs of underserved communities in metro atlanta. these programs focus on providing essential services, fostering self sustainability, and advocating for social justice. At our house, we provide a pathway to stability and independence for families experiencing homelessness through access to health care, early childhood education, housing, and employment.
