Computer Science Senior Design Projects School Of Engineering This capstone project provides students an opportunity to demonstrate their mastery of various subjects in computing and their ability to solve real world problems in a creative way. In their final year, bachelor of science in cs majors complete either a senior design project or an enterprise project. many of these projects are presented by students at design expo, an annual competition that highlights hands on, discovery based learning at michigan tech. The year culminates with the senior design showcase: a massive display of over a hundred projects that demonstrate students’ command of core engineering and computer science concepts. To this aim, the students will also be introduced to computer vision, natural language processing and modern advanced algorithms and systems, which also serves as a foundation for the senior project proposals and projects of the following semester.
