Semiconductor Devices Lab This laboratory manual is the companion to my oer text semiconductor devices: theory and application. it is intended for use in introductory semiconductor devices courses and is appropriate for two and four year electrical engineering technology curriculums. After today’s lab, you are able to build circuits involving simple semiconductor devices. you understand the tradeoffs made when modelling semiconductor devices and how those models can be employed in circuit design.
Semiconductor Devices Lab Introduction to semiconductors and how they form the "brains" of all modern electronics. This text covers the theory and application of discrete semiconductor devices including various types of diodes, bipolar junction transistors, jfets, mosfets and igbts. It is intended for use in introductory semiconductor devices courses and is appropriate for a two or four year electrical engineering technology curriculum. the manual contains sufficient exercises for two 15 week courses using a two to three hour practicum period. In this lab, many different electronic components are used including passive devices such as resistors and capacitors as well as semiconductors such as diodes and transistors, and finally, integrated circuits.
