Semester Programs Sis Study Abroad Sis currently offers full credit semester programs in three different locations as well as a unique multi destination semester. a semester in siena, italy is the best way to fully immerse yourself in italian culture and understand the true meaning of intercultural study abroad. The sis 89 day semester program allows students to spend 12 immersive weeks in siena—no student visa required. the program begins with a 2 week intensive italian language course (3 credits), during which students explore the city, visit service sites, and connect with their host families.

Participants are immersed in the italian language and culture during a semester, academic year, or summer program. courses include anthropology, art history, cinema, medieval history, sociolinguistics, history of italian cooking, business, and creative arts. The sis gap semester is specifically designed to give the student enough support and structure to navigate their months abroad, but also enough independence to explore and learn through their service activities.

Course and internship options are available in english and or spanish. the barcelona sae academic center (sis) internship program offers students an exciting opportunity to take courses in both english and spanish, all of which can count toward major, minor, or general education requirements. Semester in spain (sis) is a study abroad program in sevilla promoting immersive learning, intercultural engagement, & inclusive christian community. Sis offers study abroad opportunities in belgium and italy, which come complete with courses (2 6 weeks, a semester or full year), internships and host family or dormitory residency. Applicants will be immediately notified of acceptance into this program and be able to complete post decision materials prior to the term's application deadline.
