Scouting Transition Wild The bike that turns mountains into playgrounds, the scout, has always been a top choice for younger and smaller riders. for 2025, we’ve updated the frame to have a new leverage curve tuned specifically for lighter riders. After 8 years of fun riding oranges, i’m looking forward to ‘transitioning’ in the next couple of weeks, but with a patrol rather than a scout. going to be fun getting to grips with a new toy. Transition is located in an area that is at the forefront of this movement, and their bikes have grown with it. this scout is a different beast than the original, sporting 15mm more rear wheel travel, a centimeter taller fork, and a three degree slacker head angle. Sbg is designed around a longer reach and slacker head angle but with a custom 37mm offset fork. the shorter offset moves the front axle closer to the rider and increases the trail. transition worked on sbg for over two years in hopes of giving riders more confidence and stability.
