On march 14, 2017, the ooc awarded safety recognition awards to 69 senate offices and 88 house offices that were hazard free during occupational safety and health inspections from the 114th congress. Nationally, awards are given in 18 different categories that reflect the vast, comprehensive services counties provide. the categories include children and youth, criminal justice and public safety, county administration, information technology, health, civic engagement and many more.
