Roam Animate Projects Roam is our third commissioning programme aimed at early career animation artists. as with our previous projects planting and mortal, the roam artists will each receive production and editorial support from animate as they develop and produce a short, animated, single screen film. We’re now inviting expressions of interest to take part in ‘roam', which is our latest commissioning programme for early career animators. we will be supporting three artists to make short.
Roam Animate Projects Animate projects fosters bold, creative work that engages audiences across galleries, festivals, and digital platforms. animate projects has a commissioning programme designed to support early career animation artists in developing original, experimental work. We’re pleased to announce the artists selected for roam: edd carr, grace lee and sarah taylor silverwood. they will be making new animated work in. With production and editorial support from animate, the artists will produce short, animated, single screen films. the films will be shown at a public event, online and on instagram. We will be supporting three artists to make short animated films inspired by the organisation where they will undertake a period of research and development, taking inspiration from conversations with right to roam’s jon moses.
