The division of pulmonary, critical care, & sleep medicine offers a well balanced program of clinical care, teaching and research. we are currently twelve faculty and ten pulmonary fellows. Our program consists of 15 fellows, five each year, who are very involved in every aspect of patient care within the division. fellows gain clinical experience via rotations at the university of kansas hospital and the veterans hospital in kansas city, missouri. The program director must have at least three years of documented educational and or administrative experience in an acgme accredited internal medicine residency or pulmonary disease or critical care medicine fellowship.
