River District Development Plan Au Workshop Architects Urbanists Adjoining property owners in this redevelopment district requested development concept plans to explore the potential redevelopment scenarios. multiple scenarios explored density, use, basic massing, site access, and parking disposition. Key steps to follow include the preparation of an urban water management strategy, amendments to the metropolitan region scheme, outline development plans, amendments to local government town planning schemes, and detailed subdivision design.
River District Development Plan Au Workshop Architects Urbanists A development control plan (dcp) provides detailed guidelines for the design and assessment of proposed developments. a dcp supports the planning controls in the local environmental plan. This catalyst project for the fort collins river district redevelopment area replaces a former concrete batch plant with a four story mixed use building comprised of apartments, headquarters office space, and retail—all over below grade parking. We facilitated community intercept surveys, face to face stakeholder interviews, and strategic analysis of all input. our efforts culminated in a blueprint for the next 20 years, ensuring access, recreation, cultural heritage, environmental health, and effective management of the nepean river. Outlines a pioneering plan to improve and celebrate the yarra’s parklands for a growing population – protecting important environmental and cultural values while enabling an array of outstanding river and parkland experiences.
